Mister Uriel Meijer has brought us ta staff fer his farm. I'll be cookin fer him and if Rose agrees, she can help me by simply prepping ingredients or cleanin, up to her. *he sighed* Seems ta be the only nice one of the bunch so far.

“Oh.” He hadn’t meant for that to sound judgemental, but it did. What man in his right mind would sell a business to go work as a servant?
Then understanding dawned and he decided he’d treat poor Mr. Willaby to a meal if he'd have it. “I've heard Whitby is a very tough place to run a business, with all the competition and the constant changes in customers. Ye wouldn’t be the first.”
They reached the pub and Tobias held the door for the other to go through. Poor man. Poor Rose too, going back to being a servant in another Meijer household. He hoped this one was a great deal better, like Mr. Willaby said. “Let me get ye a meal. I still owe you. We left early at your wedding.”
